Rollover Crashes In Easton, I-84 Among Several On Fairfield County Roadways

Snowy conditions during the morning Monday caused several crashes throughout Fairfield County as police cautioned motorists to stay off the roads until conditions approved.

As of 11 a.m. Morehouse Road in Easton, between Banks and Beers roads, is closed due to an overturned truck, said Easton Police.

Fairfield police and emergency responders said there was a crash earlier on Wilson Street from "very" slippery road that sent one driver to the hospital with injuries.

Norwalk police reported slick roadways along with Connecticut State Police who responded to a rollover crash in Danbury on I-84 with injuries.

State police said motorists should expect conditions to turn icy on the roadways throughout the day.
